Editorial standards & linking policy
Independence statement
BiliGuide is an independent editorial guide. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Bilibili Inc. or any creator listed on this site.
How channels are verified
- Candidate names come from Bilibili's official 2025 Top 100 Creator award pages.
- Each official space link was confirmed via Bilibili's public user search using an exact display-name match plus the visible 2025 Top 100 badge.
- Every profile shows a "Last checked" date. Stale profiles are re-reviewed on a rolling schedule.
How introductions are written
- English introductions are translated and adapted from the official 2025 UP100 detail-page descriptions of each creator.
- We do not add biographical claims, subscriber counts or awards beyond what those sources support.
- Topic groupings, language labels and entry-level ratings are our own editorial judgments and are presented as such.
Language labeling rules
- English / bilingual — used only with verifiable evidence of genuine English-language content from the channel itself.
- Visual-first — storytelling carried primarily by imagery; understandable without Chinese.
- Chinese spoken — narration matters; plan on translation tools.
- Culture-heavy — humor and context depend on Chinese internet culture.
Absence of an English label is deliberate: we never upgrade a label on hope. When evidence arrives, labels change.
Corrections
Spotted a wrong link, an outdated label or a factual error? We treat corrections as maintenance, not criticism — send details to hello@biliguide.com and we'll review against sources. Verified fixes update the profile and its check date.
Copyright & linking boundaries
- We link to official channels and official pages only.
- We do not host, mirror, re-upload or embed creator videos, thumbnails or avatars.
- We do not provide instructions for circumventing regional restrictions, paywalls or platform rules.
- Visual design on this site is original; no Bilibili logos or official assets are used.
Translation & terminology
We keep culturally specific terms like UP主 and danmaku in their original form with plain-English explanations on first use, rather than forcing inaccurate equivalents ("YouTuber," "bullet screen") that obscure more than they clarify.
Advertising & sponsorship
If paid placements are ever introduced, they will be visually distinct and explicitly marked "Sponsored." Sponsorship will never influence language labels, topic placement or editorial recommendations. Today: no ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored content.
