Privacy notice

The short version

• BiliGuide has no accounts, no logins and no comment sections.
• We never ask for, collect or store your name, email address or any other personal details.
• We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and button clicks — aggregated, non-identifying usage data only.
• The one feature that remembers anything (My next watch) stores its list in your browser only. It never reaches us.
• We don't sell data, we don't run ads (yet), and we don't embed Bilibili's player — we only link out.

What we measure, and how

Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google's standard web analytics service. It records things like which pages are viewed, which country a visit roughly comes from, the device and browser category, and which buttons get used. GA4 automatically anonymizes IP addresses and does not log or store them in full.

On top of standard page-view measurement, interactive features on this site send named events so we can see what is actually useful — for example:

• which watch path or goal a visitor picked,
• that an outbound link to an official Bilibili channel or video was opened,
• which filter (topic, duration, language load) was applied,
• whether a page was marked helpful via the "Was this page helpful?" widget.

These events carry flat, non-identifying parameters only — a label, an ID, a page path. Nothing you type stays on the page is sent anywhere, because nothing on this site asks you to type anything that goes to us.

Cookies and browser storage

• Cookies we set ourselves: none. We don't run our own cookies for sessions, preferences or advertising.
• Google Analytics cookies: GA4 sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to tell repeat visits apart. Google handles that data under Google's privacy policy.
• localStorage: the My next watch feature keeps your saved videos and viewing-mode choices in your browser's local storage so the list survives a reload. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and disappears if you clear site data.

What we never do

• We don't sell, rent or trade analytics data.
• We don't track you across other websites and don't buy audiences.
• We don't embed Bilibili's video player, so Bilibili isn't loaded in the background while you read our pages.
• We don't build advertising or marketing profiles from your visits.

Links out to Bilibili

Creator and video links point to official Bilibili pages. Once you follow one, Bilibili's own privacy policy and cookies apply — we receive nothing back about what you do there.

Your choices

• You can use Google's official Analytics opt-out options, which disable GA4 on every site including this one.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works fully without them.
• You can clear site data to empty the My-next-watch list at any time.
• You can browse in private/incognito mode to keep storage and cookies out of your browser.
