Why watch
手工耿 (Geng Shuai) builds inventions that are mechanically impressive and cheerfully useless: a fortune-cat snowball-throwing mech, a fighting-water-motorcycle, an upside-down hair-washing machine. The builds are genuinely well engineered; the comedy lives in the gap between skill and purpose. His most popular videos have passed twenty million views on Bilibili. Narration and banter matter here, so plan for translation — but the machines themselves speak every language.
What to expect
- Chinese narration and jokes carry the comedy; the machines and build steps are easy to follow visually.
- Chinese-led narration; try browser translation or subtitles where available.
- Subtitle availability can vary by video — browser page translation works well for titles and comments.
