How to Find Creators on Bilibili

Finding a specific creator on Bilibili is easy once you know one thing: names are unique strings, not brands. Two accounts can look almost identical, and search results mix verified creators, fan re-uploads and unrelated accounts sharing similar names. Here’s how to land on the real channel.

Method 1: Start from a curated link (easiest)

Every creator profile on BiliGuide links directly to the channel’s official space URL (space.bilibili.com/...). These links were verified against Bilibili’s public user search and, where noted, against official award badges. If you found a creator through this site, just click through — no searching required.

Method 2: Search the name exactly

On Bilibili’s search bar, switch to the user tab (用户) and type the creator’s exact display name, including punctuation and numbers:

• Names like -LKs-, -三三三元 or 瓶子君152 include symbols and digits that matter
• Latin-alphabet names (Geekerwan, Chubbyemu) match precisely
• Pure-Chinese names need exact characters — copy-paste beats typing from memory

How to recognize the official account

Once you have search results, check these signals:

1. Follower count — official channels of notable creators usually have hundreds of thousands to millions of followers
2. Verification badges — many professional creators carry identity verification
3. Award badges — recipients of Bilibili’s annual Top 100 Creator award (百大UP主) display it proudly; it’s a strong authenticity signal
4. Content consistency — the account’s recent videos should match what you expect from the creator

If an account has 500 followers and reposts someone else’s videos, keep scrolling.

Finding creators by topic instead of name

Name search only works when you already know who to look for. For discovery by interest:

• On Bilibili itself, topic zones (分区) organize content, and the trending pages surface popular creators within each zone — though popularity and “good for a non-Chinese speaker” are very different things
• Community lists and annual award pages (like the official UP100) are transparent starting points, since they explain why creators were selected

A note on names in English coverage

Many creators use mixed-script names (小Lin说, HOLA小测佬) or have unofficial romanizations. When we write profiles, we keep the original Chinese name as the primary identifier because that’s what actually finds them on the platform — adding made-up English spellings would send you to the wrong accounts. If a creator has an established official English name, we use it alongside the original.
