Glossary entry

百大 (Baida): Bilibili's Top 100 Creator Award 百大

Literal meaning
bǎi dà — 'the hundred great', short for 百大UP主 (Top 100 UP)
Where you'll see it
Bilibili's official annual award list; announced each January for the previous year

Every January, Bilibili names its 百大UP主 ("Top 100 UP") — one hundred creators the platform itself honors for the year. If you see a creator with a 百大 badge or the phrase "X consecutive years on the 百大 list", that's what it refers to.

What the award actually is

  • It's the platform's own editorial honor, not a follower ranking. The list is judged by Bilibili across content zones — gaming, knowledge, music, lifestyle and the rest — and consistently rewards small, specialist creators alongside studio-scale channels.
  • It has run annually since the 2018 list. Long-running creators often cite consecutive years on it; UP主 like 老番茄 treat it as a career milestone.
  • It covers the whole creative spectrum — teachers, animators, food channels, tech reviewers — which makes it a better discovery starting point than any follower count.

How BiliGuide uses it

Our directory's initial candidate set comes from the official 2025 Top 100 list, and every one of those profiles was verified by matching the creator's exact display name plus the visible award badge. We state this on every profile's editorial record, with a check date — the badge proves who a channel is, not how good their next video will be. A small number of profiles are editorial additions, verified through a separate process and marked as such.

What it is not

  • Not a quality ranking. #1 is not "better" than #100 — the list is a curated set, not a leaderboard.
  • Not permanent. Channels evolve, pause or move; an award from a past year says nothing about this month's uploads. That's why every profile here carries a "Last checked" date.
  • Not an endorsement of this site. BiliGuide is independent and unaffiliated — we use the list as a transparent sourcing standard, nothing more.
